Kung Pao Chicken ================ Ingredients ----------- Sauce: * 1/4 cup water * 1/4 cup soy sauce * 4 tsp. cornstarch * 1 Tbsp. sugar * 1 tsp. vinegar * Dash of hot sauce Chicken: * 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts - cubed * 1 Tbsp. beer * 1 tsp. cornstarch * 1 tsp. soy sauce The rest: * 2 - 4 cloves garlic * 2 tsp. ground ginger * 1 Tbsp. sesame or vegetable oil * 1 cup chopped onion * 1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts (optional) * 1/2 cup cashews (optional) * Rice to serve over Instructions ------------ #. Mix all stuff in chicken section together #. Heat oil in wok, then add ginger and garlic #. Cook for 15 seconds before adding chicken mixture #. Cook chicken until done, then push to outer edges of wok #. Mix sauce Ingredients together and to middle of wok #. Stir until it begins to thicken and bubble #.
