Oven Pork Ribs¶
Ingredients¶
- 4 lbs pork ribs
- 2 cups barbecue sauce
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tsp hickory smoke salt
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions¶
- Pre-heat oven to 300F.
- Peel off tough membrane that covers bottom of ribs.
- Mix together spices to make rub. Apply rub to all sides of the ribs.
- Lay two layers of foil, shiny side out. Place ribs, meaty side down, onto the foil.
- Lay two layers of foil on top of ribs and roll and crimp edges tightly, edges facing up to seal.
- Place ribs on a baking sheet and bake for 2 - 2 1/2 hours, or until meat is starting to shrink from the ends of the bones.
- Remove the ribs from the oven, and heat the broiler.
- Cut ribs into portions of 3, leave bony side up, and brush with BBQ sauce.
- Place ribs in oven and broil for 1 - 2 minutes. Repeat with other side of ribs.
Serves: Original recipe yields 4 servings.
