Tangy Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 Pork Chops
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 2 medium Onions - chopped
  • 2 Celery Stalks - chopped
  • 1 large Green Pepper - sliced
  • 1 can (14oz) Stewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 Beef Bouillon Cube
  • 2 Tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp Water
  • Rice to serve over

Instructions

  1. Place pork chops in slow cooker and sprinkle with pepper
  2. Add the onion, celery, green pepper, and tomatoes
  3. Combine Ketchup, Vinegar, Brown Sugar, Worcestershire, Lemon juice, and Bouillon
  4. Pour over chops and veggies in the slow cooker
  5. Cover and cook 5-6 hours on low
  6. Mix Cornstarch and water until smooth
  7. Stir into liquid in slow cooker
  8. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes.
  9. Serve over rice
