Chowder

Ingredients

  • 2-3 Slices of Bacon
  • 1 medium Onion - sliced
  • 1/3 cup Celery - diced
  • 1/4 cup Green Pepper- chopped
  • 2 large Potatoes - peeled and diced
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 cup Milk

Instructions

  1. Fry bacon until crisp
  2. Dry bacon on paper towel
  3. Using 2 Tsp. of bacon fat, saute onion, celery, green pepper
  4. Add potatoes to pot of water that barely covers them
  5. Cook until potatoes are tender
  6. Add cream of mushroom soup and milk to pot
  7. Simmer, stirring until hot
  8. Add vegtables to pot and finish cooking
  9. Crumble bacon over top Chowder and serve

Serves: 2 - 4
